We're all about celebrating the kick-ass women in our lives on Galentine's Day. But G-Day is February 13th, and that still leaves the single folks flying solo on V-Day. That's why we're proposing a day of serious, no holds barred self-care on February 14th: Me-Day. Here are a few totally selfish (and much-deserved!) ideas for inspiration.

Buy Yourself Flowers

You love the way your home looks with a fresh bouquet. But who says it needs to come from someone else? Hit up your local florist for the buds you've always dreamed of—but that no S.O. has known you well enough to order. Don't forget to add a little love note to yourself, too!

Hit the Spa

Book yourself that massage, facial, or mani/pedi that always seems just a bit too pricey to treat yourself to. Another option: Stock up on bath bombs, aromatherapy oils, and candles, and have a relaxing night in. Bonus points for bringing in a good book and a glass of wine.

Make a Reservation for One

Is life even worth living if you can't have your favorite fancy meal without a dinner partner? Book a table at your go-to restaurant—or try that trendy new spot—and get just as glammed up as you would for a first date. (We recommend a sparkly dress, cute shoes, Lip Crème in Damsel, and FlexLash Mascara. You're welcome.)

Have a Staycation

There's just something luxe about sleeping in a fluffy bed with crisp white sheets... that's not your own. Spend the night in a hotel or Airbnb (it doesn't have to be an expensive one!), order up food service, take a bath, and prop yourself up with those cloud-like pillows to watch a movie. Cue the best sleep of your life.

Watch a Girl Power Show or Movie

Rom-coms: Who needs 'em? Instead, queue up the most empowering movies or TV shows you can think of. A few ideas: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Broad City, Sex and the City, Clueless, Thelma and Louise, and Desperately Seeking Susan.

Whatever You Do: Stay off Social Media

Don't let couple pics of friends, coworkers, and celebs paired with lovey-dovey captions burst the bubble on your Me-Day. It's all about you, boo!
